We are excited to share our recent collaboration with Esmod Kuala Lumpur, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion schools. This project involved second and third-year students, who had the opportunity to work with our deadstock fabrics, transforming them into extraordinary garments.
The second-year students explored the concept of zero waste by designing jackets. While some pieces were not fully completed, what mattered most was their commitment to developing a revolutionary way of working with fabrics—minimizing waste and rethinking their design process to be more sustainable.
Meanwhile, the third-year students embarked on more complex projects, creating fully finished garments. Their work demonstrated a deep understanding of both technical and creative aspects, producing original and sophisticated designs. We were amazed by their dedication and ability to incorporate sustainability into every detail.
For us, the project was particularly emotional because we had the chance to send our deadstock fabrics to a country where such high-quality materials are not always easy to find. Seeing the appreciation for our fabrics was deeply rewarding and reaffirmed the importance of making premium, sustainable textiles available to fashion students and professionals worldwide.
We continue to invest in partnerships with fashion schools to support young creatives in their educational and professional journeys. At EVA Re-Source, we provide access to deadstock fabrics from top fashion houses, enabling students to explore the full potential of circular creativity.
By working with fashion schools, we aim to inspire new ways of thinking about sustainability in design—reducing waste, reusing resources, and creating beautiful, innovative collections. We know that investing in young talent is essential for building a more responsible future in fashion.
Stay tuned for more stories and projects where creativity and sustainability go hand in hand!
